Goods

Are the items on Sir Milky quartz new? 

90% are not! Some of our materials are store bought but a majority are finds. If they are we will make sure to state it. 

Why can I not purchase two of the piece I am interested in? 

At Sir Milky Quartz everything is one-of-a-kind unless otherwise stated. This does not mean it is the only in the universe (although occasionally this is the case) it just means its the only one we are aware of and currently selling. 

Are the pieces marked handmade created at SMQ?

Yes! Anything labeled as handmade is made in the Sir Milky Quartz's workshop. If there is only a part of the piece being handmade in our studio we will be sure to let you know. Some of our other goods are also handmade but by other talented maker hands of the past!

Why handmade, upcycled, vintage?

Underneath these three umbrellas is Sir Milky Quartz's core. We are passionate about thoughtfully procured and sustainable goods. A majority of our collection is pre-loved, or re-imagined upon staying true to SMQ's love of a good eco friendly find.  

When will new items be added to the collection? 

Goods are added as soon as they are ready! Often they are updated in sets and will be announced on instagram and via our newsletter. If you are interested please follow @sirmilkyquartz

I am interested in a piece in your collection but I have a few questions. 

Never hesitate to ask! Please e-mail us at hello@sirmilkyquartz.com and ask away. It is of upmost importance to us that you receive exactly what you are looking for. 

The piece I am looking at seems to have slight signs of wear or patina, is this normal?

This is completely accepted at Sir Milky Quartz and in fact we welcome a bit of antiquing (including slight scratching, discoloration, patina, general wear). We promise we will never sell anything badly damaged unless clearly noted. 

 


Shipping

Where does Sir Milky Quartz ship? 

SMQ currently ship to the United States. We are working to bring Sir Milky Quartz all over the world. Contact us at hello@sirmilkyquartz.com about shipping to you!

When will my be order be shipped?

We are a one woman, one bun team so we ask that you allow 2-3 days of processing and packaging. From there shipping time is determined by chosen shipping speed along with your location. If you are in a rush and need your goods asap please contact hello@sirmilkyquartz.com to see if we can accommodate your needs. 

 


Orders

Can I return my goods once purchased?

No, all sales are final. Clothing and shoes that do not fit may be returned for store credit. Please make sure to thoroughly review descriptions and photographs before purchasing. 

I purchased a top but it does not fit, can I get another size? 

Unfortunately not, every item at SMQ is one of a kind so we do not have other sizes available. You are welcome to return it for store credit but are expected to pay return shipping. Please feel free to ask for exact measurements of pieces before purchasing if it is helpful. 

I received the wrong product, please help!

We are so sorry and will get this all straightened out. Please contact hello@sirmilkyquartz.com to begin the process. Include your order number and a description of what you were supposed to receive. 

 


Billing

When will my credit card be charged?

Your credit card will be charged as soon as your order is accepted and processed.

What can I do if my payment was declined? 

Oh no! Here are a few things to check if your payment didn’t go through: Check that your card’s billing details (such as the security code and billing address) match what you’ve entered into our system.

Do you offer promotions? 

We occasionally will run promotions. Please sign up for our newsletter and follow us @sirmilkyquartz to stay in the loop. 

 


General Questions

Does Sir Milky Quartz have a brick and mortar I can shop at? 

Currently we are only an online shop with the occasional pop up at a craft fair or market. If you would like to meet us in person please check out our events calendar.

Do you offer gift cards? 

Currently we do not but we are looking to introduce them soon! Stay tuned!
